Water buffalo! This cutie and what I think was his mother were staked up in the side yard waiting to be fed hay. Once they’ve been fed, they are off to the back fields were… uh… I don’t know what they do.

This caught my eye in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MAN). I wonder if there was a sign during the SARS scare.

There was an assortment of giant donuts, I could only show this one because I wanted to get the pies in the shot to show scale.
I saw a rather rotund family enjoying these and I though it best not to buy them. Though we did buy stollen, raisin-apple bread, a cherry bar, and small apple tartlet.

It was just warm enough to bare sitting out in front of a chiminea. Our friend brought out this decorative box with some moldy old pine cones. She popped one into the chiminea and we saw these brilliant colors
